STRAPTOR is a tie-down system with automatic retraction. In the ratchet range, it is also searched as self-retracting ratchet straps, automatic-retracting ratchet straps, retractable ratchet straps or retractable tie-down straps.

You prepare the load, find the anchor points and adjust the straps. With STRAPTOR, unused webbing stays contained while you work and returns to the mechanism when you finish.

With a conventional strap, excess webbing remains outside the mechanism and needs to be secured before setting off.

Straps stored loose can get tangled together. You have to separate them before use.

After unloading, you have to wind up the webbing and secure it for storage. A step you repeat every time.
What is STRAPTOR?
The STRAPTOR System brings together tie-down solutions with automatic retraction. In the Falcon range, a self-retracting ratchet strap may also be searched as an automatic-retracting ratchet strap, retractable ratchet strap or retractable tie-down strap. Unused webbing stays contained in the mechanism and retracts when the system is released.

Secure
Extend the webbing to the anchor point and attach the hooks. The rest stays contained and out of your way.
Tension
Adjust the strap using the ratchet or cam buckle, depending on the model. Work with the webbing neatly contained and no loose lengths around you.
Release and retract
Release the mechanism and guide the webbing as it retracts. It stays stored for next time, without winding it by hand.

Falcon 700: a retractable ratchet strap with 25 mm × 3 m webbing and a breaking strength of 700 kg. Choose direct or progressive retraction for motorbikes, quads and cargo.
Bikes and bike racks
Kestrel 600: a compact retractable cam buckle strap for bike racks, luggage and light loads. Easy to adjust and store.
Boating and trailers
Osprey 1200: a transom tie-down with 48 mm × 0.95 m webbing and a breaking strength of 1200 kg. It stays mounted on the trailer, with the webbing contained for the next trip.
